So Rob's job is doing a kick ass thing. They are going on a van tour around the states visiting companies and clients. Just spreading the word that their out there.

What's really cool is you get to go along the tour with them by reading their Twitter and blog, watching the webcam and videos, looking at pictures...all sorts of neat stuff.

Daryl wants more people looking at the cam, so I'm popping in here to help promote the Plaid Nation tour! Click on the link and take a look. Rob will be joining them in the end of July. Whoo!

I think I'm going to stop writing in here. Nothing personal, but...well I just don't write in here anymore, when I do it's nothing interesting just the same talk. I'll keep my account so I can read my friends and I'll probably post my website when it's finished. Anyways! It's been swell.

What's in store this weekend?
Get over my cold! Omg! So much stuff coming from my head....where does it all come from?! It must be my brain leaking*drip drip*

Keep working on my webpage, cuz I got *so* far last weekend: P

Draw! I actually have been drawing. I drew a simple Princess Peach and Perry on my sick day. I plan on doing another Princess Peach and try out inking with Illustrator and coloring it in PS. Hmmm.....

Beat Streets of Rage! I will not let an old school game kick my ass!

I watched Project Runway season 3 this past week. The marathon sucked me in on my sick day, heh. It totally reminds me when I went to school for fashion design. Makes me want to sew clothes again. Start off with patterns, then move onto my own stuff. I was thinking I can try sewing my final project top again, but with a different lighter fabric and a few changes. I have the pattern, so why not? *dream*

22nd-Feb-2007 10:01 pm - Redeeming myself
hmmmm?
Here's a little something I'm working on. The picture on the left is something I did back in '98 from my old website. Featuring my lovely characters from various "comics" I tried drawing. The right is a group picture I'm working on now with most of the same characters and some new, all nice and updated for 2007 of course.

(old: starting from top left. Jewel, Jade, Ionis, Relm, Jen, Fenix, Shade's old boyfriend, Shade and Poppie.)
(new: Jade and Jewel, Samantha and Byron, Jen and Fenix, Pluervio, Shade, Giselle and Prince Albert)

Enjoy!! And laugh and cry and pity me.

*ps this was my pokemon era*

20th-Feb-2007 09:59 pm - It's just...wow. *art babble*

I spent most of the night looking through all my sketchbooks. Hoping to draw inspiration(hurf, "draw"). I have stuff from like 1992. Man, I can't stand my anime phase, 'specially the Pokemon era. 2000 was an awful year. Best sketchbook is Sept 2002- April 2003. And then after that, I've gone through one sketchbook, doodling in another for the past 3 years and it's still not filled up, and the nice leather one Rob got me is too nice and I'm afraid to draw in it. I got a free book a few weeks ago and I vow to use it up.

I *have* to get back into the swing of things with my drawing. I know I keep saying that, but now I really have to. When we move to New York, I want people to see me as an illustrator. And yeah i know, that's not really going to happen, but I want them to still know I can draw...and not do production work on Flash(which i can't stand and still don't know how to use). Ultimate goal is to get where I can just freelance and be a mom. (3-5yrs)

I did post something little on DA. A quick Shade sketch that I colored in PS.

Bed time!
19th-Feb-2007 09:04 am - umm...ok!...?

So we were going to move to New York early cuz Rob's uncle had an apartment we can rent from. Then it turns out that he was going to sell the place, making us move late in the year. So NOW we get a call saying that he's going to keep the apartment and if we still want we can have it.

OMG! What to do, what to do??

From what I hear this place is niiiiiiice. The city is niiiiiiice. One of those richy small urban towns close to White Plains and the City(ample jobs)
